We are committed to making dove releases a memorable event for all occasions. We guarantee our releases are carried out by experienced staff. Our releases are restricted to 50 miles radius of Hainault, Essex.
We only release well trained birds outdoors during daylight hours at distances that they can safely return to their loft before sunset.
Bookings and Payment
Dove releases should be booked at the earliest possible time to assure availability.
Dove releases are booked when "Flight Of A Dove" receives the 25% down payment. This will reserve your date in our diary.
Distance charges may apply for releases contracted beyond 30 miles of Hainault, Essex.
Balance of payment is due four weeks before event date.
Bookings made within two weeks of an event require payment in full at time of booking.
Release:
A “Flight Of A Dove” coordinator must be present for all releases.
We will arrive at the release site 30 minutes prior to the time of the event to begin our set up.
We only release highly trained, well cared for White Doves from pure white racing pigeon stock. These are also known as Rock Doves.
We will not release birds too close to sunset. They must be able to reach home safely. If your event goes past your release time the birds will not be released and there will be no refund. Because our doves are precious, we will take every precaution to protect them and assure their safety.
We do not ship birds for self-release.
Inclement Weather
Certain weather conditions make it is unsafe to release doves. These conditions may include, but are not limited to, rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, fog and snow. During such conditions birds cannot be released. A refund will be given less deposit.
Cancellation:
Cancellations that take place at least four weeks prior to your event date will result in a full refund being issued to you. In the event that you should need to cancel less than four weeks prior to your scheduled dove release/display, no refund will be issued.
Photo's/Video's:
You will be asked permission from "Flight Of A Dove". To photograph or video your dove release and/or dove display. Any photos or footage taken may be used for advertising or promotional purposes.
Your Rehearsal:
Please take advantage of your FREE rehearsal. This is the chance for you to learn about how to hold your bird. As well as pick your dove/s for your release. This will be done at our lofts or for a fee of £20 in the comfort of your own home.
